Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ricardo Garcia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim Coelho got free with Cristóvão Lopes in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Amendoais FC's Alberto Viana got a free kick in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Amendoais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Garcia came free, but Cristóvão Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SC Medados's Marco Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Faro in the 12th minute of play. Marco Delgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Faro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joaquim Coelho came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the SC Medados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquim Coelho couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cristóvão Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristóvão Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Garcia in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Amendoais FC booed when SC Medados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Setúbal didn't get a good kick on the ball. António Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marco Delgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alexandre Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Medados's goalkeeper Marco Delgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as SC Medados's Joaquim Coelho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristóvão Lopes. That made the score 1-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 44th match minute, SC Medados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Sá to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandre Faro to make the kick off. Ricardo Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Cristóvão Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Coelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Lopes having to interfere. In the 56th match minute, SC Medados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu Sá to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 58 minutes, Alexandre Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amendoais FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th match minute, SC Medados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Simões to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, SC Medados's goalkeeper Marco Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by António Aguiar. SC Medados's Marco Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Faro in the 64th minute of play. Cristóvão Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. A collision led to Amendoais FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. André Castro hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Garcia in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristóvão Lopes saved Amendoais FC from getting behind. Marco Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandre Faro in the 76th minute of the match. When Amendoais FC's Alexandre Faro in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Medados's goalie prevented a goal. 90 minutes in the game, Alexandre Faro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marco Delgado having to interfere. Cristóvão Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeu Sá, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Medados fans cheered their team off the field, for while Amendoais FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
