Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alexandre Maia got the match started through his kick off. Carlos Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Rocha having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rogel FC's zone, Alexandre Maia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Veiga came out of the goal and Alexandre Maia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Pessolta's Alexandre Maia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Veiga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, Pessolta's Alexandre Maia made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Veiga was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard shot 29 in the game by Jaime Reis from a close distance when the talented Lucas Rocha managed to make a qualified save. Pessolta's players were relieved. Rogel FC's Pedro Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Maia in the 30th minute of play. Lucas Rocha was a little too slow when Jaime Reis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-2. Alexandre Maia succeeded in the game's 35th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Alexandre Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pessolta's goalkeeper Lucas Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Alexandre Maia came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Pessolta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Maia couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Rogel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Simão Amaro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pedro Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Maia in the 59th minute of play. Miguel Faro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Emanuel Guerreiro from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Pedro Veiga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lucas Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Silva in the 69th minute of play. If Simão Amaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Vasco Gueifão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th match minute, Rogel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. 2-3 became the score in the 81st minute when Carlos Silva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Rogel FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Maia came free, but Pedro Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Rocha hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Rogel FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexandre Maia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Simão Amaro took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Veiga. Pedro Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. The Pessolta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pessolta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
