Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when José Anjos took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Lúcio Rodrigues came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Meas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lúcio Rodrigues couldn't finish the play. The Fojo fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Fojo's Miguel Reis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Fojo defense, Lúcio Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hélder Setúbal. The Fojo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hélder Setúbal should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lúcio Rodrigues got free with Hélder Setúbal in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Lúcio Rodrigues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hélder Setúbal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Francisco Cardoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Anjos's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 37th minute, Meas FC's Fernando Matias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hélder Setúbal. Hélder Setúbal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-2. Miguel Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cardoso having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Meas FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Anjos came free, but Francisco Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Assis charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Assis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-3 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Matias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Júlio Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fojo the free kick. 76 minutes into the match, Fojo's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Rodrigues came free, but Hélder Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel Reis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Francisco Cardoso made a huge save. After having played for 82 minutes, Miguel Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fojo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Fojo booed when Meas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Anjos in the 88th minute of play forced Meas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Miguel Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Reis struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Francisco Cardoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fojo.
