Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Matias took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Eusébio Assis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Desbarato's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusébio Assis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Cardoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Assis in the 10th minute of play. José Melo's late challenge caught a SC Desbarato's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Melo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Meas FC's José Melo got a free kick in the 11th minute. Xavier Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Xavier Rocha got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Rodrigues in the 21st minute of the match. Eusébio Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cardoso having to interfere. Carlos Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Rodrigues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lúcio Rodrigues in the 34th minute of play. Xavier Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Cardoso having to interfere. Meas FC's Francisco Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Assis in the 38th minute of play. Xavier Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Cardoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Meas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xavier Rocha. In the 44th match minute, SC Desbarato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Meas FC's Fernando Matias got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Júlio Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 58th minute Fernando Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusébio Assis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, SC Desbarato's goalkeeper Carlos Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lúcio Rodrigues. In the 64th minute, Fernando Matias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Francisco Cardoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusébio Assis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusébio Assis in the 74th minute of play forced Meas FC's goalkeeper Francisco Cardoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Meas FC booed when SC Desbarato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lúcio Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in SC Desbarato's zone, Fernando Matias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Torres came out of the goal and Fernando Matias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
