When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Miguel Reis sped through SC Desbarato's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Torres. Hélder Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Rocha in the 7th minute of play. José Anjos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If José Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the match, Miguel Reis notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Desbarato's Carlos Torres. Carlos Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st match minute, SC Desbarato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Aleixo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Torres came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulo Aleixo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Anjos in the 32nd minute of play forced SC Desbarato's goalkeeper Carlos Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fojo's zone, Eusébio Assis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hélder Setúbal came out of the goal and Eusébio Assis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Fojo's Miguel Reis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Miguel Reis put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Carlos Torres. If José Anjos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Eusébio Assis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Setúbal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Torres having to interfere. Júlio Esteves charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júlio Esteves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th match minute, SC Desbarato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Esteves to maneuver through the defense. José Anjos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fojo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
