José Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Fonseca having to interfere. José Ferro struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Fernando Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crasto FC. Paulo Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Fernando Fonseca made a huge save. Paulo Jesus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Armando Pacheco fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crasto FC's protests and gave Armando Pacheco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Armando Pacheco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Ferro was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Heitor Oliveira spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Crasto FC's goal. After 36th play minutes José Ferro shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Fernando Fonseca and just under the crossbar into goal. Fernando Fonseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Ferro in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute José Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heitor Oliveira made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Heitor Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Alufinha FC's Heitor Oliveira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Paulo Jesus came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Crasto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Jesus couldn't finish the play. If Amílcar Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Pedro Sá fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When David Magalhães fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alufinha FC's protests and gave David Magalhães a yellow card for diving instead. David Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The corner led Crasto FC's Adelino Freitas to fire away a dangerous shot which Fernando Fonseca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Crasto FC's André Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Correia in the 75th minute of play. Pedro Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Costa having to interfere. In the 87th minute Heitor Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Fonseca came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Crasto FC's Paulo Jesus. But to his dismay, Paulo Jesus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Paulo Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Crasto FC had won after a very even match.
