In the 14th match minute, Crasto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. When Januário Liberato came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SC Lousada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Januário Liberato couldn't finish the play. Lourenço Ferraz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Crasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Januário Liberato came free, but André Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Crasto FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Alexandre Oliveira hit a great ball. David Moreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Costa. Crasto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 40thth minute of the game Januário Liberato who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crasto FC's André Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aprígio Caiado was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Aprígio Caiado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crasto FC's André Costa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 61 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Brás was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Lousada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Crasto FC the free kick. Rodrigo Brás kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. André Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aprígio Caiado in the 63rd minute of play. Januário Liberato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Costa having to make a save. Aprígio Caiado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Januário Liberato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Lousada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Januário Liberato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aprígio Caiado in the 69th minute of play forced Crasto FC's goalkeeper André Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Paulo Jesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crasto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Jesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Catarino Assunção breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Jesus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Catarino Assunção made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, Crasto FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aprígio Caiado came free, but André Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Crasto FC's zone, Januário Liberato stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Costa came out of the goal and Januário Liberato tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crasto FC's André Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aprígio Caiado in the 91st minute of play. Gusmão Prestes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for André Costa. Crasto FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Januário Liberato cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. André Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
