Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Coimbra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Luz struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Hugo Correia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Casainhos. Alexandre Paiva's late challenge caught a SC Casainhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes SC Comenda got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Paiva. 7 minutes into the game, Alberto Coimbra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Casainhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Comenda the free kick. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Comenda! The referee gave SC Casainhos a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lourenço Esteves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Comenda's Hugo Correia. 1-0. In the 19th minute, Alberto Coimbra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Coimbra in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Correia saved SC Comenda from getting behind. After 24 played minutes SC Casainhos got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Oliveira. After 24 played minutes, SC Comenda's André Baptista shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Carlos Almeida came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Comenda reached it. Alberto Coimbra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Humberto Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristiano Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Júlio Oliveira hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Carlos Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Soares in the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of SC Casainhos booed when SC Comenda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Soares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SC Casainhos's zone, Cristiano Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Almeida came out of the goal and Cristiano Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Soares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of SC Comenda booed when SC Casainhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Soares in the 55th minute of play forced SC Casainhos's goalkeeper Carlos Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, SC Casainhos's goalkeeper Carlos Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristiano Sousa. 61 minutes into the game, Afonso Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Casainhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Comenda the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of SC Casainhos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of SC Comenda:s goal. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for SC Comenda. André Baptista stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlos Almeida. 1-2. André Baptista placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! After having played for 82 minutes, Humberto Soares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Comenda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Soares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute of the match, Humberto Soares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Almeida saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Coimbra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, André Baptista sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Casainhos's Carlos Almeida didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the SC Comenda defense, Alberto Coimbra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Correia. The SC Comenda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Correia should have stopped the shot.
