Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Horácio Lages started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. José Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Lages in the 4th minute of play. José Leite came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Reveles FC's Hermano Almeida. But to his dismay, Hermano Almeida quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. José Leite was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Roberto Vilar. Nuno Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Azenha having to interfere. Virgílio Azenha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nuno Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soutinho's protests and gave Nuno Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Soutinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nuno Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Albertino Silva hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute Horácio Lages shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Bento Pedroso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Leite was a little too slow when Horácio Lages got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-0. Isac Assunção hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. José Amaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Azenha having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Garcia made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Hermano Almeida's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Leite was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Nuno Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Azenha having to interfere. When Reveles FC's Hermano Almeida in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Soutinho's goalie prevented a goal. Nuno Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Virgílio Azenha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soutinho's Nuno Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Leite came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Reveles FC's Horácio Lages. But to his dismay, Horácio Lages quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. If Horácio Lages had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Reveles FC's José Quirino got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horácio Lages in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck José Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute Hermano Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
