SC Almarginho Portugalia's Almiro Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SC Almarginho Portugalia's Hipólito Teves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Costa in the 6th minute of play. Albertino Maia came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hipólito Teves could save by the left post. Gonçalo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Álvares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Almiro Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Almarginho Portugalia booed when SC Gralhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. António Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lourenço Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simão Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Gralhos! The referee gave SC Almarginho Portugalia a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Júlio Álvares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SC Gralhos's Gonçalo Lima. 0-1. Hipólito Teves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Sérgio Lima cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Hipólito Teves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gonçalo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Álvares in the 30th minute of play. Sérgio Lima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Tiago Costa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hipólito Teves, 2-1. Basílio Pereira hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Olavo Lima missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gonçalo Lima right hand side. Almiro Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gonçalo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hipólito Teves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from António Paredes in the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Tiago Costa made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Tiago Costa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Almarginho Portugalia's Hipólito Teves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 58th minute Almiro Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Álvares struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Gonçalo Lima didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Almarginho Portugalia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Costa in the 69th minute of play forced SC Almarginho Portugalia's goalkeeper Hipólito Teves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hipólito Teves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Lima in the 71st minute of play. Júlio Álvares in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gonçalo Lima, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hipólito Teves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sérgio Lima in the 74th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, SC Almarginho Portugalia's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Costa came free, but Hipólito Teves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, SC Almarginho Portugalia's Saúl Falcão got a free kick in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Sampaio during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to SC Almarginho Portugalia getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Cristiano Sampaio hit a great ball. Alexandre Ferro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hipólito Teves. SC Almarginho Portugalia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Álvares in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonçalo Lima saved SC Gralhos from getting behind. Hipólito Teves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Júlio Álvares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gonçalo Lima. The goal made the score 2-2. SC Almarginho Portugalia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
