Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Penados's Alexandre Delgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Emílio Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Penados's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carapinheira the free kick. In the 3rd minute, one of SC Penados:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SC Penados. After a defensive mix-up in Carapinheira's zone, Eduardo Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Campos came out of the goal and Eduardo Abreu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Coimbra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carapinheira! The referee gave SC Penados a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui Pacheco, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carapinheira's José Campos. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Carapinheira's David Martins got a free kick in the 17th minute. If David Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alberto Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Fontes in the 31st minute of the match. Alberto Esteves didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. In the 41st match minute, Carapinheira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Leite to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Alexandre Delgado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Penados fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Carapinheira were furious when Cristóvão Moreira was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 52 minutes into the game, one of Carapinheira:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Carapinheira were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after SC Penados's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Duarte Maia took the corner. Alberto Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Gomes in the 62nd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Carapinheira's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Delgado came free, but José Campos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Neves kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th play minute Lucas Coimbra came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Campos. 2-4. After having played for 72 minutes, David Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapinheira's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Esteves came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Carapinheira's David Martins. But to his dismay, David Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. David Martins struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alberto Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carapinheira. David Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Esteves having to interfere. Abel Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Penados's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
