Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fernando Esteves took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sever Chiliman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristóvão Baptista having to make a save. Cristóvão Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diamantino Tomé, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 17th match minute, SC Folgosinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Damásio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Folgosinho's Paulo Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. George Best blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cristóvão Baptista having to make a save. In the 32nd minute, George Best fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cristóvão Baptista, passed just outside the right post. 35 minutes into the match, SC Folgosinho's goalkeeper Cristóvão Baptista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Best. In the 37th minute, Sever Chiliman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, SC Folgosinho's Fernando Esteves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiago Damásio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fernando Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Gaspar Valente hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, SC Folgosinho's Simão Fonseca got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Esteves in the 61st minute of play forced Leões de Vila de Rei's goalkeeper Tiago Damásio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Damásio having to interfere. Simão Fonseca's late challenge caught a Leões de Vila de Rei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SC Folgosinho getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Simão Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 66th minute George Best shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Valente during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leões de Vila de Rei booed when SC Folgosinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match Diamantino Tomé sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristóvão Baptista skillfully saved the ball. Emanuel Negara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 71 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, one of Leões de Vila de Rei:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 73 minutes, SC Folgosinho's Filipe Antunes got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tiago Damásio. Gaspar Valente hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, Bruno Bombardeiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Folgosinho's Cristóvão Baptista. Cristóvão Baptista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Tomé in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristóvão Baptista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 86 minutes into the match, SC Folgosinho's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Bombardeiro came free, but Cristóvão Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Tomé fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Baptista having to interfere. Paulo Lopes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tiago Damásio made a huge save. Jacinto Morais charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Morais the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SC Folgosinho getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Jacinto Morais hit a great ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
