Paulo Lopes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fábio Campos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Fábio Campos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Lopes in the 20th minute. Cristóvão Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Morais in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Senhorinha FC's Fábio Campos got control of the ball when Paulo Lopes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes, Pedro Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Senhorinha FC and the SC Folgosinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, SC Folgosinho's Filipe Antunes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Fernando Esteves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fábio Campos came out and tried to block the shot, but Fernando Esteves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 47th minute.

If Simão Bessa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Folgosinho booed when Senhorinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, SC Folgosinho's Filipe Antunes tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Senhorinha FC's goalkeeper Fábio Campos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristóvão Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Bessa in the 78th minute. In the 80th match minute, Senhorinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simão Bessa to maneuver through the defense. If Fernando Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Santos hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, Senhorinha FC's Diamantino Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristóvão Baptista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Cristóvão Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Gaspar Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When Simão Bessa, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 97 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Cristóvão Baptista was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
