Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno Faria started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Paco FC defense, David Marques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adelino Resende. The Paco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adelino Resende should have stopped the shot. David Marques's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Adelino Resende skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Manuel Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When David Marques came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the SC Gondufe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Marques couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Gondufe's zone, Paulo Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Vaz came out of the goal and Paulo Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20thth minute of the game José Aleixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Gondufe's Amadeu Vaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Américo Campos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Vaz having to interfere. When Manuel Assunção fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paco FC's protests and gave Manuel Assunção a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Oliveira took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Vaz. Amadeu Vaz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Adelino Resende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Nuno Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Gondufe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SC Gondufe booed when Paco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Assunção didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Adelino Resende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Américo Campos made a kick off. David Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Resende having to interfere. David Marques's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Resende read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. If David Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adelino Resende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Faria in the 63rd minute of play. After 65 played minutes Paco FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Setúbal. David Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adelino Resende. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. Nuno Faria succeeded in the game's 71st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. In the 75th minute, Nuno Faria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuno Faria in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adelino Resende prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Américo Campos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Amadeu Vaz came out and tried to block the shot, but Américo Campos slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 92nd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Paco FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
