Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Américo Alves kicked off to start the match. Paulo Coimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vieira in the 4th minute of play. Augusto Teixeira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Macieira's Américo Alves got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, José Vieira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macieira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Saiceira the free kick. After 11 played minutes Macieira got a freekick which was hit by José Vieira. If Marco Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Marco Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Saiceira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Cunha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Américo Alves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Coimbra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. José Vieira might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Coimbra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Vieira ran back to his position shaking his head. Américo Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Coimbra having to interfere. Paulo Coimbra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Alves went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Cunha to make the kick off. Paulo Coimbra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Américo Alves's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Paulo Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when José Vieira sent off a good shot on target. Marco Cunha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but António Nogueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Cunha in the 71st minute of play forced Macieira's goalkeeper António Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulo Coimbra made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when José Vieira sent off a good shot on target. José Vieira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paulo Coimbra made a huge save. SC Saiceira's Paulo Coimbra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Américo Alves in the 86th minute of play. Américo Alves succeeded in the game's 88th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Macieira walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
