Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fernando Resende started the match with the kick off. If Bento Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nivaldo Rego came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ventelharia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nivaldo Rego couldn't finish the play. Bento Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eusébio Assis having to make a save. Eusébio Assis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delfim Dantas in the 11th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Nivaldo Rego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ventelharia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nivaldo Rego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Assis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Guerra in the 16th minute of play. Claudemiro Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Borges in the 18th minute of play. Limaos FC's Eusébio Assis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Limaos FC from getting a goal against them. Eusébio Assis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Delfim Dantas sent off a good shot on target. Bento Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nivaldo Rego who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Assis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Angelo Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eusébio Assis. Limaos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Manuel Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudemiro Palmeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. A collision led to Ventelharia getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Valentim Graça hit a great ball. Delfim Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Assis having to interfere. Nivaldo Rego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nivaldo Rego stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Limaos FC's goalkeeper Eusébio Assis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bento Guerra scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusébio Assis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Nivaldo Rego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ventelharia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nivaldo Rego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Limaos FC! Bento Guerra struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Eusébio Assis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ventelharia. 71 minutes into the match, Ventelharia's goalkeeper Claudemiro Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Borges. Ricardo Viegas charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ricardo Viegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ventelharia! Eusébio Assis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim Dantas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ventelharia's Claudemiro Palmeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Carneiro in the 86th minute of play. In the 91st match minute, Limaos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by António Neto to maneuver through the defense. After 92 played minutes, Ventelharia's Nivaldo Rego shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eusébio Assis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ventelharia reached it. Limaos FC's Eusébio Assis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bento Guerra in the 96th minute of play. Paulo Carneiro struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Claudemiro Palmeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limaos FC. Ventelharia were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
