Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hugo Pereira made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Hugo Pereira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 7th minute of the match Olívio Junqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rui Marques skillfully saved the ball. Mateus lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Marques having to interfere. In the 13th minute Julio Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Amaro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Joaquim Figueiras firmly grabbed it by the left post. SC Junquinho's Rui Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Vitin in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herberto Bessa in the 21st minute of play forced SC Junquinho's goalkeeper Rui Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus lago in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Marques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vitin scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Marques, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Julio Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herberto Bessa might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Marques. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Herberto Bessa ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Marques having to interfere. In the 39th minute of the match, Gaspar Amaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Joaquim Figueiras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rui Marques came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sanjurge's Herberto Bessa. But to his dismay, Herberto Bessa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The SC Junquinho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sanjurge were winning 0-2.

Mateus lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Rui Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SC Junquinho's Rui Marques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save SC Junquinho from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in SC Junquinho's zone, Herberto Bessa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Marques came out of the goal and Herberto Bessa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, SC Junquinho's Rui Marques got control of the ball when Mateus lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herberto Bessa got free with Rui Marques in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Nogueira in the 63rd minute of play forced Sanjurge's goalkeeper Joaquim Figueiras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, SC Junquinho's goalkeeper Rui Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus lago. Mateus lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Vitin in the 77th minute of play forced SC Junquinho's goalkeeper Rui Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, SC Junquinho's Rui Marques got control of the ball when Mateus lago tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Julio Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hélio Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Hugo Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Junquinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 97th play minute Mateus lago came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rui Marques. 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sanjurge eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
