When the match had been going on for 8 minutes, Solar dos Leões's Gil Montenegro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Miguel Henriques. Normando Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Normando Raposo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Solar dos Leões's supporters rose to their feet, but Normando Raposo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Henriques breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Solar dos Leões's Filinto Ponte got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes, Olo's Nuno Gueifão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lázaro Vigário came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olo reached it. In the 22nd minute, João Velasques got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xavier Santarém's late challenge caught a Solar dos Leões's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavier Santarém helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Olo's Xavier Santarém got a free kick in the 24th minute. Normando Raposo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Miguel Henriques when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Normando Raposo charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Normando Raposo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Normando Raposo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Lázaro Vigário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Olo's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Raposo came free, but Miguel Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Veríssimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Moura was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Solar dos Leões's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Moura came free, but Lázaro Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Isidro Veríssimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Henriques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Solar dos Leões's supporters crossed their fingers, but Normando Raposo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Henriques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Normando Raposo's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Normando Raposo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Henriques having to interfere. Miguel Henriques showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Albuquerque in the 63rd minute of the match. Marco Garcia's late challenge caught a Solar dos Leões's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Garcia helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 played minutes Olo got a freekick which was hit by Marco Garcia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Normando Raposo in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Henriques prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, Olo's goal looked a bit too open when José Fiúza came free, but Miguel Henriques reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nuno Gueifão hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Normando Raposo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olo's Miguel Henriques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Olo defense, Normando Raposo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Henriques. The Olo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Henriques should have stopped the shot. Pedro Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Marco Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Vigário having to interfere. The supporters of Olo booed when Solar dos Leões was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Veríssimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Solar dos Leões's goal looked a bit too open when Bento Moura came free, but Lázaro Vigário reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 played minutes Solar dos Leões got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Veríssimo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Solar dos Leões fully deserved thier win.
