António Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Xavier Santarém managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xavier Santarém was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bento Moura to make the kick off. The audience held their breath when Humberto Pereira in the 72nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Miguel Henriques's left hand side. After 80 minutes of play, Olo's Bento Moura made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Morais was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olo's Miguel Henriques proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Olo from getting a goal against them. A well placed Luís Branco short distance shot in the 95th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
