Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Normando Raposo got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Velasques in the 6th minute of play forced SC Verdemilho's goalkeeper Américo Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandre Sousa hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Emanuel Carvalho hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 16 minutes, Normando Raposo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Verdemilho's Américo Fontes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gil Montenegro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Solar dos Leões's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Normando Raposo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Américo Fontes made a huge save. Gaspar Aleixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lázaro Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Solar dos Leões's Gil Montenegro got a free kick in the 23rd minute. When Bruno Faria fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Verdemilho's protests and gave Bruno Faria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 28th minute, Bruno Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Solar dos Leões's Isidro Veríssimo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Américo Fontes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuno Albuquerque went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Solar dos Leões's Lázaro Vigário played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonso Magalhães in the 35th minute of play. Américo Fontes was a little too slow when Normando Raposo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 3-1. The audience was convinced that Normando Raposo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Américo Fontes was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. If João Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Aleixo to make the kick off. Catarino Santiago kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Solar dos Leões's goalkeeper Lázaro Vigário, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Afonso Magalhães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lázaro Vigário was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. In the 61st minute, Catarino Santiago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Américo Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Gaspar Aleixo took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Lázaro Vigário to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th match minute, Solar dos Leões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gusmão Santana to maneuver through the defense. If Gaspar Aleixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes SC Verdemilho got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Magalhães. In the 79th match minute, Solar dos Leões was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gil Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Gaspar Aleixo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Verdemilho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Aleixo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lázaro Vigário breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 83 minutes into the match, Normando Raposo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Américo Fontes. SC Verdemilho's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Normando Raposo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. After a rather tough play, SC Verdemilho's Nuno Esteves got a free kick in the 87th minute. 87 minutes into the match, SC Verdemilho's goal looked a bit too open when Gil Montenegro came free, but Américo Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Normando Raposo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Normando Raposo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Américo Fontes was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When Solar dos Leões's Normando Raposo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Verdemilho's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Carlos Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Raposo in the 94th minute of play forced SC Verdemilho's goalkeeper Américo Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Solar dos Leões players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
