The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vítor Amorim helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alfeloas FC booed when Croca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vítor Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Alfeloas FC's Vítor Marques tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Gil Assis made a precise shot to the right of Bernardo Ferro. Croca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bernardo Ferro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Assis in the 12th minute of play. Gil Assis hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. When Manuel Campos fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alfeloas FC's protests and gave Manuel Campos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Sérgio Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Alfeloas FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Trindade. 21 minutes into the match, Rui Delgado notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Alfeloas FC's Eusébio Anjos. Eusébio Anjos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Sérgio Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusébio Anjos was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. The wind increased when Gil Assis made the kick off in the second half. Croca FC's Rui Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Eusébio Anjos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croca FC. 56 minutes into the match, Croca FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Ferro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Campos. Manuel Campos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Ferro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Domingos Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Gil Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute.
