Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cristiano Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Leite having to interfere. After 6 played minutes SC Gralhas got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Valente. In the 9th minute, Vicente Trindade sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Gralhas's Vítor Leite didn't even have to move. In the 14th minute Lucas Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cândido Gonçalves was extremely unlucky when he, in the 18th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 20 minutes into the game, Cândido Gonçalves recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vítor Leite. Cândido Gonçalves showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Lucas Santarém blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Barbosa having to make a save. After 31 played minutes SC Gralhas got a freekick which was hit by Vasco Maia. After a rather tough play, SC Leiros's Cristiano Esteves got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Lucas Santarém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Sousa during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th minute, Francisco Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Santarém in the 39th minute of play forced SC Leiros's goalkeeper Augusto Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Teixeira in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cândido Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. When Vasco Maia fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Gralhas's protests and gave Vasco Maia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, SC Gralhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasco Maia to maneuver through the defense. SC Gralhas's Vítor Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cândido Gonçalves in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Luís Teixeira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Leiros's Augusto Barbosa. Augusto Barbosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 65 played minutes SC Gralhas got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Valente. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Santarém got free with Augusto Barbosa in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th match minute, SC Leiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Esteves to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, SC Gralhas's Miguel Antunes tried to score from far away in the 85th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Cândido Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Leiros booed when SC Gralhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vítor Leite stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Esteves's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
