Carnapete FC's Jorge Aleixo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rúben Franco in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carnapete FC's Catarino Vieira got a free kick in the 21st minute. Rúben Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Aleixo having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Assis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hermenegildo Sobral was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Estrela★Leonino OFF's Paulino Andrade got a free kick in the 27th minute. Emílio Pinheiro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Hermenegildo Sobral skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Anjos hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A collision led to Carnapete FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. António Cruz hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Estrela★Leonino OFF's Alexandre Castilho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cristiano Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Adalberto Marques made the kick off in the second half. Cristiano Assis kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Carnapete FC's Jorge Aleixo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Carnapete FC from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes, Catarino Vieira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnapete FC and the Estrela★Leonino OFF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th match minute, Carnapete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Catarino Vieira to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Carnapete FC's zone, Adalberto Marques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Aleixo came out of the goal and Adalberto Marques tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermenegildo Sobral stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristiano Assis's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Paulo Almeida hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Alexandre Castilho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Aleixo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Óscar Vieira charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Óscar Vieira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Carnapete FC got a freekick which was hit by Óscar Vieira. In the 73rd match minute, Estrela★Leonino OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Cristiano Assis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Cristiano Assis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play, Carnapete FC's Emílio Pinheiro made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hermenegildo Sobral was left in no man's land by his defense there! António Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
