Pedro Campos made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Amílcar Pacheco sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Nogueira in the 27th minute of play forced SC Fortes's goalkeeper Pedro Campos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Amílcar Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Campos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Pedro Campos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Matos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Pedro Campos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SC Fortes's zone, Amílcar Pacheco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. SC Finzes's Adolfo Nogueira got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amílcar Pacheco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Campos having to interfere. Daniel Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Dias having to interfere. If Adolfo Nogueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes SC Finzes got a freekick which was hit by Rui Guarda. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
