Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SC Pobrais's Oliveira Branco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vítor Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliveira Branco in the 4th minute of the match. Álvaro Viana's late challenge caught a Seixal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Álvaro Viana helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Pobrais's Álvaro Viana got a free kick in the 9th minute. Gabriel Resende received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Santos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Macedo in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vítor Santos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Macedo in the 17th minute of play forced Seixal's goalkeeper Vítor Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliveira Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vítor Santos having to interfere. Vítor Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliveira Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 23rd minute, André Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto Domingues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Seixal's Gabriel Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 minutes, Emílio Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Pobrais and the Seixal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, António Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Seixal's zone, Oliveira Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Santos came out of the goal and Oliveira Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Oliveira Branco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Seixal's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveira Branco came free, but Vítor Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Resende stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, SC Pobrais was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Pinho to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the match, Gabriel Resende notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of SC Pobrais's Paulo Nascimento. Paulo Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Gabriel Resende managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seixal's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Resende was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Oliveira Branco came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SC Pobrais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliveira Branco couldn't finish the play. Gabriel Resende fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Nascimento having to interfere. A collision led to Seixal getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cristiano Rocha hit a great ball. Vítor Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliveira Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Seixal fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Pobrais had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
