Carlos Gueifão's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. 55 minutes into the match, Jaime Quinaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Coimbra. Currelos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Quinaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 59 minutes into the match, Giraldes's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Reis came free, but Angelo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurentino Calado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but David Coimbra made a huge save. Giraldes's Angelo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Reis in the 77th minute of play. Laurentino Calado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Currelos's Carlos Gueifão got a free kick in the 87th minute. Laurentino Calado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. David Coimbra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rui Moreira charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rui Moreira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 played minutes Currelos got a freekick which was hit by Rui Moreira. Jaime Quinaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
