Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nuno Cruz made the kick off which started today's match. Arao's Américo Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Vidigal in the 2nd minute of play. Américo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Belém in the 6th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Amílcar Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Óscar Belém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Américo Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Óscar Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the game, Adélio Torcato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rapijais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arao the free kick. After 16 played minutes Rapijais FC got a freekick which was hit by Adélio Torcato. After recieving a nice pass, Arao's Óscar Dias tried to score from far away in the 17th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gil Vidigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Américo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Arao got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Dantas. Gil Vidigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Nuno Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rapijais FC's Telmo Ramalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gil Vidigal came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Rapijais FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Vidigal couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the match, Gil Vidigal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arao's Américo Leite. Américo Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Arao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rapijais FC were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Óscar Belém to make the kick off. Manuel Dantas tried in the game's 51st match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Américo Leite. An annoying self made goal, 0-3. After 56 minutes, Pedro Anjos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arao and the Rapijais FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Arao getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Pedro Anjos hit a great ball. Gil Vidigal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Neves in the 65th minute of play forced Rapijais FC's goalkeeper Telmo Ramalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arao's Ricardo Neves in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rapijais FC's goalie prevented a goal. Américo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Óscar Belém in the 70th minute of play. Óscar Belém sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Óscar Belém left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rapijais FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arao's goalkeeper Américo Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gil Vidigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Américo Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Rapijais FC were awarded a corner. Óscar Figueira went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 91stth minute of the game Óscar Belém who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arao's Américo Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ricardo Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Telmo Ramalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rapijais FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
