Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Basílio Veiga made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Prime's zone, Basílio Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. António Miranda came out of the goal and Basílio Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Carraptinha's goalkeeper Catarino Marques had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristóvão Resende. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Resende in the 13th minute of play forced Carraptinha's goalkeeper Catarino Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, António Leão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carraptinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Prime the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carraptinha's António Leão got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Prime's Diogo Ferro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 19 minutes in the game, José Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Catarino Marques having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Carraptinha's Basílio Veiga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. António Miranda was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Resende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. António Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. António Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basílio Veiga in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Carraptinha's Catarino Marques got control of the ball when Cristóvão Resende tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Prime's Carlos Resende slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Catarino Marques. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. After 45 minutes, José Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prime and the Carraptinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Carraptinha booed when Prime was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Resende made a kick off. Jorge Anjos's late challenge caught a Prime's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Anjos helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Anjos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Prime's Cristóvão Resende got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catarino Marques took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Resende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Catarino Marques stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlos Resende's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Basílio Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Prime booed when Carraptinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Pacheco didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristóvão Resende couldn't finish the play. 2-1 became the score in the 82nd minute when Cristóvão Resende elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carraptinha's Emílio Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
