Fernando Bessa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Salazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jorge Monteiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vicente Guerreiro to make any attempt to save it. After 29th play minutes Ramiro Salazar shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Fernando Bessa and just under the crossbar into goal. Lancao made a substitution. Evandro Onofre replaced Sebastião Santarém. The supporters of Oucidres booed when Lancao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 50 played minutes Diamantino Moniz shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Lancao's Vicente Guerreiro to catch but Diamantino Moniz was lucky. It became 2-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Noronha to make the kick off. Baltasar Jordão kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Vicente Guerreiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Pinho in the 59th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Fernando Bessa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Noronha in the 63rd minute of play forced Oucidres's goalkeeper Fernando Bessa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 69 played minutes Miguel Noronha rounded Oucidres's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. After a rather tough play, Oucidres's Jorge Monteiro got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ramiro Salazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fernando Bessa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Miguel Noronha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fernando Bessa, 2-4. In the 91st minute, Oucidres's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ramiro Salazar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Joel Pacheco hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Miguel Noronha spun around in front of the goal 94 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Oucidres's goal. Miguel Noronha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Bessa having to interfere. The Oucidres fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lancao were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
