The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Maurício Carmona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 9 in the game by Jorge Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Paulo Gonçalves managed to make a qualified save. SC Azerveira's players were relieved. In the 12th minute Maurício Carmona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, SC Azerveira's goalkeeper Paulo Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jorge Rodrigues. Bultra Copos FC ™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angélico Granja in the 15th minute. Angélico Granja made a great header on Bultra Copos FC ™'s corner, it was just that SC Azerveira's Paulo Gonçalves managed to reach the ball for a save. With his leg Paulo Gonçalves managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Bultra Copos FC ™'s Jorge Rodrigues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Paulo Gonçalves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saúl Fagundes, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute of the match, Jorge Rodrigues got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Gonçalves was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. SC Azerveira's Paulo Gonçalves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save SC Azerveira from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Delfim Lencastre made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Luís Assunção sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rodrigues in the 54th minute of play forced SC Azerveira's goalkeeper Paulo Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, SC Azerveira's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rodrigues came free, but Paulo Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jorge Rodrigues sped through SC Azerveira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Gonçalves. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Rodrigues in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Gonçalves saved SC Azerveira from getting behind. Paulo Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Rodrigues in the 78th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Gustavo Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Azerveira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bultra Copos FC ™ the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, SC Azerveira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Porto to maneuver through the defense. In the 94thth minute of the game Jorge Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Azerveira's Paulo Gonçalves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Ávila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Gonçalves having to interfere. Jorge Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Paulo Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bultra Copos FC ™'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
