Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edrosa's Filinto Rebocho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filinto Rebocho in the 8th minute of play forced SC Bagoada's goalkeeper Jaime Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Filinto Rebocho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermenegildo Veríssimo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Jaime Moutinho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 20 minutes, Filinto Rebocho made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. SC Bagoada's Jaime Moutinho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 23 minutes, Armindo Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Edrosa and the SC Bagoada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaime Moutinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hermenegildo Veríssimo got free with Jaime Moutinho in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Moutinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filinto Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Bagoada's Basílio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hermenegildo Veríssimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Moutinho having to interfere. SC Bagoada's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Filinto Rebocho 43 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. SC Bagoada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Filinto Rebocho scored to the left of an out of position Jaime Moutinho, making the score, 4-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Sá to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Hermenegildo Veríssimo sped through SC Bagoada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Moutinho. Henrique Carvalho's late challenge caught a Edrosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henrique Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, SC Bagoada's Henrique Carvalho got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Hipólito Telinhos sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SC Bagoada's Jaime Moutinho didn't even have to move. 65 minutes into the match, SC Bagoada's goal looked a bit too open when Filinto Rebocho came free, but Jaime Moutinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filinto Rebocho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jaime Moutinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Semedo in the 74th minute of play forced SC Bagoada's goalkeeper Jaime Moutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Filinto Rebocho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Edrosa's supporters rose to their feet, but Filinto Rebocho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Moutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Edrosa's Filinto Rebocho in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jaime Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermenegildo Veríssimo in the 83rd minute of the match. Jaime Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermenegildo Veríssimo, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The supporters of Edrosa booed when SC Bagoada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandro Ribeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to SC Bagoada getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Pedro Oliveira hit a great ball. If Hermenegildo Veríssimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Moutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filinto Rebocho in the 92nd minute of the match. SC Bagoada's Jaime Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Veríssimo in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Hermenegildo Veríssimo made a precise shot to the right of Jaime Moutinho. SC Bagoada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Edrosa fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Bagoada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
