Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henrique Antunes got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Leite in the 6th minute of play forced Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Artur Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Guadalupe FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Luís Sá hit a great ball. Artur Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antero Rebocho's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Celso Estrada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Nuno Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antero Rebocho in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artur Ribeiro saved Guadalupe FC from getting behind. In the 28thth minute of the game Antero Rebocho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guadalupe FC's Artur Ribeiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Guadalupe FC's zone, Antero Rebocho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artur Ribeiro came out of the goal and Antero Rebocho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Setúbal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Antero Rebocho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Ribeiro. Guadalupe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antero Rebocho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Amado Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antero Rebocho, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Antero Rebocho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Artur Ribeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Antero Rebocho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Stars Academy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Guadalupe FC's Artur Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Guadalupe FC from getting a goal against them. Artur Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antero Rebocho in the 61st minute of the match. Fernando Setúbal's late challenge caught a Stars Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fernando Setúbal helped the player get up and apologised. Fernando Setúbal kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Stars Academy's Amado Leite sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artur Ribeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Guadalupe FC's Artur Ribeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antero Rebocho in the 75th minute of play. Amado Leite's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Artur Ribeiro firmly grabbed it by the left post. After having played for 83 minutes, Amado Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stars Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amado Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Celso Estrada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stars Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Estrada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Stars Academy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guadalupe FC throughout the match.
