Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Amadeu Freitas started the match with the kick off. SC Tremoceira's Jorge Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Leiria in the 5th minute of play. Simão Assis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Fontes having to interfere. Joaquim Leiria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jorge Fontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes SC Tremoceira got a freekick which was hit by Mário Viana. Amadeu Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Assis having to interfere. In the 35th minute Joel Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Assis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Leal in the 36th minute of play forced SC Sardos's goalkeeper Rafael Assis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Tremoceira! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 minutes of play, SC Sardos's Simão Assis made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Fontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquim Leiria might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Leiria ran back to his position shaking his head. Jorge Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Fontes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simão Assis's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Jorge Fontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Leiria in the 66th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Mário Viana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Tremoceira and the SC Sardos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Mário Viana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorge Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Amadeu Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Tremoceira's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Freitas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Assis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Assis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeu Freitas's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. The supporters of SC Tremoceira booed when SC Sardos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Leal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Joel Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, Simão Assis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Fontes. SC Tremoceira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Assis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SC Sardos fans cheered their team off the field, for while SC Tremoceira had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
