Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Armando Luz started the match with the kick off. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Sacoias's goalkeeper Sebastião Domingues, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastião Domingues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duarte Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. SC Sacoias's Sebastião Domingues proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SC Sacoias from getting a goal against them. Duarte Gomes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Miguel Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Guerreiro in the 33rd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Armando Luz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of SC Cavaleiro's Miguel Abreu. Miguel Abreu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 46 minutes, André Viegas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Sacoias and the SC Cavaleiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, SC Sacoias's André Viegas got a free kick in the 47th minute. When Duarte Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the SC Cavaleiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duarte Gomes couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duarte Gomes made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Gomes in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastião Domingues saved SC Sacoias from getting behind. If Armando Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in SC Cavaleiro's zone, Alberto Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Abreu came out of the goal and Alberto Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Guerreiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Miguel Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, SC Sacoias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliveira Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Duarte Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sebastião Domingues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Pires fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Sacoias's protests and gave Pedro Pires a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Pires hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When SC Cavaleiro's Hugo Barros in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Sacoias's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duarte Gomes in the 86th managed to get into a good position. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Armando Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Sacoias's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
