Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Miguel Santos made the kick off and thus started the match. Gabriel Trindade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Delfim Moreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Miguel Santos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Gabriel Trindade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gabriel Trindade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Delfim Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Medancelhe's goalkeeper Delfim Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Trindade. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gabriel Trindade took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Delfim Moreira to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Alvarinhas FC's zone, Filipe Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Viegas came out of the goal and Filipe Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Veiga's late challenge caught a Alvarinhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Veiga helped the player get up and apologised. Filipe Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filipe Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. José Viegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Alvarinhas FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Cândido Lisboa hit a great ball. A long shot from Diamantino Melo in the 52nd minute of play was well struck, but José Viegas made a really good save at the right post. José Viegas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute Gabriel Trindade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delfim Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Santos in the 66th minute of play. Diamantino Melo's late challenge caught a Alvarinhas FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diamantino Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Medancelhe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Alvarinhas FC. Heitor Pereira stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Delfim Moreira. 2-0. When Gabriel Trindade came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Alvarinhas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Trindade couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Medancelhe's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Trindade came free, but Delfim Moreira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Santos in the 84th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Medancelhe got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Martins. André Setúbal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 93rd minute. Medancelhe's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gabriel Trindade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Moreira having to interfere. Alvarinhas FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
