Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Domingos Figueiredo kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Luís Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Adriano Corte-Real managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Corte-Real was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Esteves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Valadares in the 9th minute of play forced Messejana's goalkeeper Heitor Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Messejana's Tomás Leiria got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Ferreira in the 18th minute of play forced LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Catarino Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Catarino Furtado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Figueiredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Aprígio Sales lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Heitor Esteves. 26 minutes into the match, Aprígio Sales notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Messejana's Heitor Esteves. Heitor Esteves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Ferreira in the 29th minute of play forced LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s goalkeeper Catarino Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th match minute, LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amável Laureano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Messejana's Tomás Leiria tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bernardo Valadares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Sá took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Catarino Furtado. LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Messejana's Heitor Esteves got control of the ball when Aprígio Sales tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. booed when Messejana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliveira Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Valadares charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Valadares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aprígio Sales did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Heitor Esteves 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aprígio Sales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavier Vilalobos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Heitor Esteves having to interfere. Aprígio Sales struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Heitor Esteves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.. Lisandro Leão hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. José Tomé hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Catarino Furtado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 73 minutes, Domingos Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Messejana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Figueiredo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Trigueiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 76 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 75th minute. Penalty! 79 minutes into the game, Luís Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Messejana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. the free kick. Luís Silva hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Catarino Furtado made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Filipe Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bernardo Valadares hit a great ball. Domingos Figueiredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Furtado having to interfere. Heitor Esteves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Leão went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 91st match minute, LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aprígio Sales to maneuver through the defense. Messejana's Filipe Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Catarino Furtado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vasco Brito. There was no doubt that LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C. were the better team. LEÕES DE PORTUGAL F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
