Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manuel Brás took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Manuel Brás had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rui Gaspar made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Humberto Ferreira sent off a good shot on target. Alcantarilha FC's Manuel Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Humberto Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alcantarilha FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Ferreira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rui Gaspar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Folgosinho's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Humberto Ferreira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Américo Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without António Mota having to make a save. 34 minutes into the match, Alcantarilha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Coelho came free, but António Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Brás in the 36th minute of the match. Alcantarilha FC's Humberto Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute of the match, Humberto Ferreira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rui Gaspar was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Manuel Brás recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Folgosinho's goalkeeper Rui Gaspar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Américo Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Alcantarilha FC's Cristóvão Pinho got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Folgosinho's Cristóvão Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Sérgio Brás got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Alcantarilha FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Brás. Humberto Ferreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Brás fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Gaspar having to interfere. Sérgio Brás hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Folgosinho's zone, Manuel Brás stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Gaspar came out of the goal and Manuel Brás tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Ferreira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Gaspar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Rui Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Óscar Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alcantarilha FC's protests and gave Óscar Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. Cristóvão Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute of the match Américo Vaz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but António Mota skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Alcantarilha FC booed when Folgosinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Ferreira in the 93rd minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
