Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eduardo Fernandes started the match with the kick off. Sandro Queirós's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Rocha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Logocem's goal looked a bit too open when David Moniz came free, but João Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Almeida's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Basílio Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando Brás during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Sandro Queirós's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Rocha was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Sandro Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Moniz made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Logocem's Tomás Bessa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basílio Costa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 57 played minutes, Logocem's Simão Amorim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Basílio Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Logocem reached it. When Rodrigo Almeida fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Logocem's protests and gave Rodrigo Almeida a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th minute, Rodrigo Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lourical FC's goalkeeper Basílio Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute David Moniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Moniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. David Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Almeida in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Fernandes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basílio Costa was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The supporters of Lourical FC booed when Logocem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Lourical FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Logocem.
