In the 20th minute Alexandre Liberato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Martins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When António Gueifão fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuias FC's protests and gave António Gueifão a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Tuias FC got a freekick which was hit by António Gueifão. Adão Mourinho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tuias FC's Joaquim Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Catarino Cardoso in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tuias FC's Jacinto Fernandes got a free kick in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Tuias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Catarino Cardoso came free, but Joaquim Martins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexandre Liberato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Joaquim Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Liberato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Freitas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but David Cerqueira made a huge save.

The wind increased when Catarino Cardoso made the kick off in the second half. Tuias FC's Jacinto Fernandes suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zarco Figueira during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alexandre Liberatos short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Joaquim Martins to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Catarino Cardoso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Joaquim Martins made a huge save. Catarino Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Catarino Cardoso in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Martins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute, Sérgio Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 81 in the game by Alexandre Liberato from a close distance when the talented Joaquim Martins managed to make a qualified save. Tuias FC's players were relieved. In the 83rd minute, Alexandre Liberato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 85th minute, SC Macieira's Catarino Cardoso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Alexandre Liberato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Martins having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Catarino Cardoso in the 92nd minute of play forced Tuias FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the match, SC Macieira's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Freitas came free, but David Cerqueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Catarino Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. SC Macieira had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
