Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Amaral started the match with the kick off. Orthros Adamou might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Santos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orthros Adamou ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 9 minutes, Rúben Gago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morgadinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rúben Gago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Santos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rúben Gago's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Rúben Gago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orthros Adamou struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Joel Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Morgadinha FC. In the 15th minute, Rúben Gago ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 19 played minutes Boimo FC got a freekick which was hit by João Ferro. Joel Santos came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Morgadinha FC's Rúben Gago. But to his dismay, Rúben Gago quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 25 minutes into the game, Orthros Adamou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morgadinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boimo FC the free kick. André Aleixo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Costel Boroneanț didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boimo FC. Costel Boroneanț tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Morgadinha FC's Orthros Adamou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Santos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Gago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Rúben Gago notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Boimo FC's Joel Santos. Joel Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Maurício Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morgadinha FC's protests and gave Maurício Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Maurício Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 played minutes, Morgadinha FC's Santiago Caires shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joel Santos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morgadinha FC reached it.

The wind increased when Orthros Adamou made the kick off in the second half. Rúben Gago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Joel Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 53 minutes, Rúben Gago managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morgadinha FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rúben Gago was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Boimo FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Alfredo Guarda hit a great ball. Rúben Gago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Santos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Morgadinha FC's Orthros Adamou got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Rúben Gago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Morgadinha FC's Maurício Camargo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. A collision led to Morgadinha FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Maurício Camargo hit a great ball. Joel Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rúben Gago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Ferro's late challenge caught a Morgadinha FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. João Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Morgadinha FC booed when Boimo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Boimo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rúben Gago fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Xizavier Larreta kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Morgadinha FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
