Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lourenço Moreira started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Sousa in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Abreu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albertino Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joaquim Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albertino Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Lourenço Moreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Souselas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lourenço Moreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Souselas FC's Afonso Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Ferro in the 18th minute of play. Lourenço Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afonso Faria having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Fábio Pacheco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Souselas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Pacheco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquim Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 played minutes Sanguinhaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Dias. Lourenço Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lourenço Ferro in the 35th minute of play forced Souselas FC's goalkeeper Afonso Faria to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrique Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Afonso Faria acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlos Mota. Afonso Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lourenço Ferro in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Sanguinhaes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Souselas FC the free kick. After 54 played minutes Sanguinhaes FC got a freekick which was hit by Gil Morais. With a little luck, Sanguinhaes FC's Joaquim Abreu got control of the ball when Albertino Sousa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Souselas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lourenço Ferro came free, but Afonso Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Lourenço Ferro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquim Abreu made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Albertino Sousa sent off a good shot on target. Lourenço Ferro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Lourenço Ferro made a precise shot to the right of Afonso Faria. Souselas FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Afonso Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lourenço Ferro in the 76th minute of play. Afonso Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Costa in the 82nd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Souselas FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sanguinhaes FC.
