Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eduardo Ramos kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, José Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Carlos Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filipe Matias in the 9th minute of play. José Fernandes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute Jacinto Melo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, José Fernandes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlos Matos, passed just outside the right post. The supporters of Picada booed when Outeiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alfredo Luz fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picada's protests and gave Alfredo Luz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th minute, Alfredo Luz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Outeiro FC's Francisco Dias broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 24 played minutes Picada got a freekick which was hit by Artur Dantas. Rui Macedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Dantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Picada's Filipe Matias in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Outeiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 35 played minutes, Outeiro FC's Cristiano Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rui Macedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Outeiro FC reached it. Carlos Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Matias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filipe Matias to strike the kick off in the second half. Nuno Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rui Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Melo might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rui Macedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Matos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filipe Matias in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Matos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Outeiro FC's Jacinto Melo collided with an opponent after 70 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. When Carlos Bessa fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Picada's protests and gave Carlos Bessa a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 70th minute of the game. One of Picada:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Outeiro FC:s goal. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Outeiro FC. Francisco Dias stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rui Macedo. 0-3. A collision led to Outeiro FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Diamantino Bessa hit a great ball. Filipe Matias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Carlos Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
