Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carlos Cunha started the match with the kick off. Simão Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Estrica booed when Mangualde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Pinheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Mangualde got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Paiva. In the 7th minute Jorge Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Nogueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vicente Nogueira came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Estrica's Emílio Barbosa. But to his dismay, Emílio Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Simão Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Cunha in the 11th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mangualde's zone, Emílio Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Nogueira came out of the goal and Emílio Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Cunha took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Silva. Simão Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Vicente Nogueira was a little too slow when Jorge Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 2-1. Jorge Paiva kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. A collision led to SC Estrica getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emílio Barbosa hit a great ball. Carlos Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Simão Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Nogueira having to interfere. If Jorge Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Jorge Costa took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Vicente Nogueira to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jorge Costa was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emílio Barbosa in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vicente Nogueira saved Mangualde from getting behind. Jorge Costa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 56th match minute, SC Estrica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lourenço Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Simão Silva made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Manuel Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. Jorge Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Nogueira having to interfere. Emílio Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorge Paiva fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mangualde's protests and gave Jorge Paiva a yellow card for diving instead. Carlos Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Simão Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, SC Estrica's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Cunha came free, but Simão Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, SC Estrica's goalkeeper Simão Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Cunha. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Carlos Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mangualde's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Simão Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Simão Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Nogueira having to interfere. If Jorge Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SC Estrica had won after a very even match.
