After a defensive mix-up in Senhorim's zone, Horácio Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Cruz came out of the goal and Horácio Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 52 minutes, Manoel Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Magusteiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Guimarães was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Manoel Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Senhorim's Daniel Cruz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Manoel Guimarães cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Daniel Cruz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Osman Gazi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Ricardo Baía ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Cruz was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Horácio Gueifão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Daniel Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Magusteiro had played much better football throughout.
