Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manoel Guimarães kicked off to start the match. Cândido Leite was out of position in the 6 minute of play, and Manoel Guimarães capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Manoel Guimarães really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 12 played minutes SC Magusteiro got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Guimarães. A hard shot 14 in the game by Manoel Guimarães from a close distance when the talented Cândido Leite managed to make a qualified save. Redundo FC's players were relieved. Henrique Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henrique Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Henrique Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Manoel Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cândido Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cândido Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Guimarães in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Xavier Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Chagas. SC Magusteiro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xavier Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. If Horácio Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manoel Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Assunção received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Cândido Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Redundo FC's goalkeeper Cândido Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kuntet Prabaya. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xavier Maia in the 42nd minute of play forced SC Magusteiro's goalkeeper José Chagas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Guimarães in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cândido Leite saved Redundo FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Henrique Barbosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redundo FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

In the 53rd minute, Manoel Guimarães got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manoel Guimarães fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cândido Leite having to interfere. Manoel Guimarães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Cândido Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Manoel Guimarães notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Redundo FC's Cândido Leite. Cândido Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cândido Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, SC Magusteiro's Manoel Guimarães sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cândido Leite narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kuntet Prabaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 69 minutes into the match, Manoel Guimarães had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cândido Leite. Redundo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manoel Guimarães was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. If Manoel Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Magusteiro's Frederico Lameirinhas was substituted for Osman Gazi. Isidoro Assunção sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Redundo FC defense, Horácio Gueifão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cândido Leite. The Redundo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cândido Leite should have stopped the shot. Xavier Maia hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Baía's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cândido Leite was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Cândido Leite came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by SC Magusteiro's Frederico Lameirinhas. But to his dismay, Frederico Lameirinhas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. When Ricardo Baía came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the SC Magusteiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Baía couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the SC Magusteiro players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
