The Daniel Lima was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Amado Jesus notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Saimes's Daniel Lima. Daniel Lima was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of SC Saimes booed when Porto Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Viegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Porto Sport Club's Adão Neto got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Jesus got free with Daniel Lima in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Porto Sport Club's zone, Eduardo Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Bernardes came out of the goal and Eduardo Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to SC Saimes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cristiano Tavares hit a great ball. Adão Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Lima having to interfere. Roberto Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Daniel Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roberto Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. If Amado Jesus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
