Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sandro Soveral made the kick off which started today's match. Rui Ribeiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Soveral's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Juvenal Queiroga struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rui Ribeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragon Blue. When Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuba FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 12th minute, Dragon Blue's Juvenal Queiroga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rui Ribeiro. Rui Ribeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rui Ribeiro. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. If Humberto Fiúza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cuba FC's Rui Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cuba FC from getting a goal against them. Rui Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandro Soveral in the 24th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes, Cuba FC's Paulo Gueifão shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Afonso Quadros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cuba FC reached it. When Sandro Soveral came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Dragon Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Soveral couldn't finish the play. If Juvenal Queiroga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandro Soveral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rui Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. With his leg Rui Ribeiro managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Américo Santarém made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cuba FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Carlos Amorim hit a great ball. Damião Amaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogério Nunes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Cuba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sandro Soveral came free, but Rui Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Juvenal Queiroga came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Dragon Blue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Queiroga couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Dragon Blue's Sandro Soveral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rui Ribeiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Sandro Soveral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ribeiro having to interfere. If Sandro Soveral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandro Soveral in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rui Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rui Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Queiroga in the 80th minute of play. Sandro Soveral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Quadros acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 86th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fábio Pinheiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Soveral in the 88th minute of play forced Cuba FC's goalkeeper Rui Ribeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Dragon Blue were awarded a corner. Damião Amaro went to the cornerflag to take it. Sandro Soveral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juvenal Queiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Ribeiro having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dragon Blue fully deserved thier win.
