Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Torneiros's Marco Faro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Ameijoafas got a freekick which was hit by Cláudio Costa. In the 6th minute Marco Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Rocha in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nuno Lima saved Torneiros from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Raul Miranda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torneiros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ameijoafas the free kick. In the 10th match minute, Torneiros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Torneiros's Nuno Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diamantino Rocha in the 17th minute of play. Nuno Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Aguiar in the 18th minute of the match. If Marco Faro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Torneiros's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Rocha came free, but Nuno Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes in the game, Marco Faro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without André Machado having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ameijoafas's goalkeeper André Machado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. André Machado was a little too slow when Marco Faro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Cristiano Barbosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Machado was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After 53 played minutes Ameijoafas got a freekick which was hit by João Esteves. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cristiano Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Torneiros's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. André Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 65 minutes, Marco Faro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torneiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Faro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Torneiros's Nuno Lima got control of the ball when Fernando Aguiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diamantino Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Lima having to interfere. Mariano Gueifão charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mariano Gueifão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ameijoafas getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Mariano Gueifão hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Torneiros's Raul Miranda got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Fernando Aguiar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Nuno Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cristiano Barbosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Machado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristiano Barbosa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Ameijoafas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. João Esteves hit a great ball. Cristiano Barbosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Machado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Mariano Gueifão kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Cristiano Barbosa scored 2-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Torneiros were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ameijoafas for a fine match.
