Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 2 minutes, David Pinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sarabagos and the Antanhol FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sarabagos getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. David Pinho hit a great ball. When Afonso Reis fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarabagos's protests and gave Afonso Reis a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Sarabagos got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Reis. In the 8th minute of the match Jaime Melo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Moura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vítor Brás struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Jorge Moura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antanhol FC. Vítor Brás sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Nuno Nunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antanhol FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Diamantino Monteiro made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Emílio Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. Antanhol FC's Diamantino Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Antanhol FC from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the game, Antanhol FC's Nuno Nunes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Moura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Tomás Monteiro hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Nuno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Tomás Monteiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antanhol FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Monteiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Moura breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Sarabagos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Vieira to maneuver through the defense. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Antanhol FC's Vítor Brás in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jorge Moura was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Sarabagos through an amazing save. Diamantino Monteiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emílio Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Nuno Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nuno Nunes got free with Jorge Moura in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd match minute, Sarabagos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Ferro to maneuver through the defense. Nuno Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jorge Moura. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. Antanhol FC's Vítor Brás got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Ferro's late challenge caught a Antanhol FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Ferro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Antanhol FC booed when Sarabagos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Ferro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vítor Brás in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Moura prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Jorge Moura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Antanhol FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
