Miguel Barbosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tiago Rijo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 5 minute of play. The supporters of Alcangosta booed when Colaria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Alcangosta's Manuel Calado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Adélio Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Barbosa was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Edgar Sesimbra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Campos in the 14th minute of play. Edgar Sesimbra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Magalhães in the 17th minute of the match. Adélio Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Coelho kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Manuel Calado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colaria's Miguel Barbosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colaria from getting a goal against them. Jorge Borges hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Miguel Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Rijo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. A hard shot 35 in the game by Joaquim Arruda from a close distance when the talented Miguel Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Colaria's players were relieved. Adélio Arruda took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miguel Barbosa. Miguel Barbosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 39th minute, Manuel Calado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miguel Barbosa, passed just outside the right post. Tiago Rijo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barbosa having to interfere. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Manuel Calado sped through Colaria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miguel Barbosa.

Edgar Sesimbra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jorge Borges in the 52nd minute. Miguel Barbosa came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcangosta's Manuel Calado. But to his dismay, Manuel Calado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, Colaria's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Rijo came free, but Miguel Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alcangosta were awarded a corner in the 59th minute after Colaria's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adélio Arruda took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adélio Arruda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Miguel Barbosa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Adélio Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colaria's Miguel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Calado in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, one of Colaria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 72nd minute, Rui Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Alcangosta's Tarcísio Neto in action when he in the 73rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adélio Arruda in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miguel Barbosa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute, Tiago Rijo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eduardo Malafaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rdth minute of the game Manuel Calado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colaria's Miguel Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Colaria's zone, Joaquim Arruda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Barbosa came out of the goal and Joaquim Arruda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Colaria's Miguel Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Arruda in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Calado in the 93rd minute of play forced Colaria's goalkeeper Miguel Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
